Bernie Koch

EXPERIENCE
Mr. Koch has nearly 40 years of experience in government relations and media, including 34 Kansas Legislative sessions as a journalist or lobbyist.  From 1988 until 2008, he was vice president for government relations at the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce, where he advocated for business, economic development, education, and community issues.  In 2009, he served as vice president for government affairs at the Tulsa Metro Chamber of Commerce.  Prior to his chamber career, he was well known for political reporting at television stations in Topeka and Wichita, Kansas and was public affairs director for Sedgwick County, Kansas.
