Founded in 2005, the Kansas Economic Progress Council is a statewide non-profit organization of businesses, trade organizations, chambers of commerce, and others interested in advancing sound public policy in Kansas to enhance our state’s quality of life. KEPC is funded with annual dues from members.
We are a different kind of business organization, committed to public investments in education, infrastructure, economic development, and government policies that grow the Kansas economy and our communities. KEPC knows that without responsible tax policy, quality of life will suffer. Read our full 2015 Legislative Platform, which guides our work during the 2015 legislative session.
Led by longtime lobbyist and reporter, Bernie Koch, our arguments are fueled by respected research that can be trusted. KEPC maintains a strict non-partisan approach designed to work with policy leaders from all political persuasions who are interested in advancing the economy and well-being of Kansas.
